2025 NEUSAW Freestyle & Greco State Tournament

2025 LOCATION:
The Devaney Center - Indoor Track

16U/Juniors - This tournament qualifies you for Fargo

There may be wrestle offs for some of the dual teams such as the Freeco Elementary National duals.  This will be at the discretion of each Team leader.  These wrestle offs may happen at State or at another appointed time and place.

REGISTRATION & COACHING BANDS
REGISTRATION: 
- REGISTER FOR BOTH STYLES AND SAVE! Entry is $30 per style or $50 for both styles. 
-Wrestlers with a Limited Folkstyle Membership must upgrade to a Full Athlete Membership in order to compete at Freestyle/Greco-Roman State.

Coaches Bands will be given out the morning of the event or at the weighins the night before in Lincoln.  If a coach has a USA Wrestling leader membership, they will get in the gate for free and a free coaching band as well.  Must have a band on to be coaching matside on the floor.
 

SCHEDULE

Saturday, May 3rd, 2025

- Noon CST - Online Registration Deadline
- 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM CST - On-site weigh-ins at the indoor track facility (Must weigh-in with a singlet)  Coaches bands will be available during this time as mentioned above.

Sunday, May 4th, 2025
- 7:00 AM CST - Doors open
- 7:15 AM - 8:30 AM CST - Free clinic begins 
- 9:00 AM CST - Wrestling for all divisions begins with Session A. Session B begins at the conclusion of Session A.

Session A: Greco for all age groups(including girls)
Session B: Freestyle for all age groups.

Girls will also be wrestling Greco for the second time at our state tournament this year! All age groups will begin by wrestling Greco. Once this session is complete, there will be a very short break (just enough time to get the mats reloaded in USA Bracketing and the second session will begin for all age groups.
- Wrestling will continue until conclusion of the tournament

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: 
- Online: May 3th, 2025 at Noon (CST)
- Walk-ins: NOT ACCEPTED - There will be no walk-ins and you must register online by the due date and time listed above.

- Online: $30 per style or $50 for both

IMPORTANT NOTES:

- SINGLETS: Blue and Red singlets are not necessary. We will use leg bands.

***SATELLITE WEIGH IN LOCATIONS/INFO*** 

In order to hold a Satellite Weighin for NEUSAW you must follow our Satellite Weighin Criteria:

• Must have a certified official at weighins.  No weighins can begin without a certified official.
• Official must sign a document they he/she has reviewed and confirms the weighins are accurate.  
• If possible, there should be 2 clubs in charge of weighins and both parties must be there prior to any weighins beginning.  
• These 2 clubs, if applicable, shall weighin each others wrestlers.  Clubs can not weighin their own wrestlers.
• Weighin times must be strictly adhered to and can not start early.
